The Austin Air HealthMate Jr Filter is constructed using a true medical grade HEPA filter surrounded by a carbon/zeolite mixture capable of removing the tiniest of particles and absorbing odors and gases. The Austin Air HealthMate Jr HM 200 Filter uses the HEPA to remove up to 99.97 percent of all particles down to 0.3 microns in size and 95 percent down to .1 micron.

The Austin Air HealthMate Jr Plus filter has all the design features as the standard HealthMate Filter with an additional additive of potassium iodide. This mineral combined with the activated carbon and zeolite, allows for greater removal of chemical gases, or Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), thus improving relief for people with chemical sensitivities. It is recommended for people who have heavy air quality problems and those that are chemical sensitive.

The Austin Air Allergy Machine Jr HEGA filter uses a military designed carbon cloth (HEGA or high efficiency gas absorption)for removing odors and gases. The Austin Air Allergy Machine Jr HEGA Filter combines this cloth with a true HEPA filter to trap airborne particles, including dirt, lint, and hair. This combination removes and absorbs the smallest of airborne particles and chemical gas contaminants. Harmful airborne particles are removed 99.97% of the time for particles as small as 0.3 microns and 95% for minute particles down to 0.1 microns.

The Baby's Breath Filter is constructed using a true medical HEPA filter and a Activated Military Carbon Cloth (HEGA) filter. HEPA filters remove 99.97 percent of all particles down to 0.3 microns in size and .1 microns 95 percent.
